Cancellation and Refund Policy
Transportation Services:

Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance of the scheduled service will receive a full refund, less any applicable bank or payment processing fees.

Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before the service will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, as well as cases of no-show, will not be eligible for a refund.
Tour Services:

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the tour date will receive a full refund, less any applicable bank or payment processing fees.

Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the tour date will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance, as well as cases of no-show, will not be eligible for a refund.
Third-Party Services:

Some activities, national park admissions, boat tours, adventure tours, or other services operated by third parties may be subject to different cancellation policies.

Non-refundable amounts charged by external providers will be deducted from the corresponding refund when applicable.
Refund Processing:

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used by the customer, where possible.

Bank, PayPal, credit card, or transfer fees are non-refundable.
Modifications:

Requests for modifications must be made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service.

All changes are subject to availability and possible price adjustments.
Flight Delays & Cancellations:

Costa Rica por un día includes unlimited waiting time for delayed flights.

We offer free re-booking for canceled flights provided the new flight information is shared with us.
Meet & Greet Service:

A representative will be waiting at the main entrance of the airport holding a sign with your name.

A picture of the sign will be sent to you prior to your arrival.

For your safety, we recommend approaching only our official staff, identified by the personalized sign.
Transportation Modalities:

Private Service: Includes direct transport to your destination and unlimited waiting time for flight delays.

Shared Service: Operates on a fixed schedule based on the destination. You must notify us in advance regarding missed shuttles so we can adjust bookings.
Climatic Conditions:

Tours and transportation services operate in most weather conditions.

If Costa Rica por un día is forced to cancel a service due to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, road closures, or security reasons, the customer may choose to reschedule the service at no additional cost (subject to availability) or receive a full refund.
Civil Liability:
Costa Rica por un día acts as an agent and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party service providers. Travelers are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance prior to their trip.
